Babassu Oil contains a high content of auric and myristic acids meaning it has a melting point relatively close to that of body temperature. This oil is a great emollient that is beneficial for both dry and oily skin. It gently moisturizes the skin without contributing an oily sheen.

Common Uses: Babassu Oil can be used as is and is a great addition to products such as soaps, creams, milks, lip balms and hair care products.

Storage & Shelf Life: This oil should be stored in a cool dark place in an airtight container away from direct sunlight and moisture.  This oil should last up to 24 months if stored properly.
