Shea butter is extracted from the Shea Nut and the process produces a butter rich in vitamins A and E, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that penetrate deeply, leaving  a smooth, satin finish that locks in moisture. This butter is great for both skin and hair and does not clog pores.

Common Uses: Shea Butter can be used on its own for both skin and hair, due to its great moisturizing and emollient properties it is also a great addition to massage and body butters, lip balms, soaps and hair care products.

Storage & Shelf Life: This butter should be stored in a cool dark place in an airtight container away from direct sunlight and moisture.  This butter should last up to 12 months if stored properly.

This butter extracted from the Shea Nut is unrefined and unprocessed in any way and there may be bits of impurities and some sediments present (tiny bits of the shell, plant fibers, etc).This is a natural and unprocessed product that is handcrafted without the use of sophisticated machinery and therefore, the possible presence of some impurities cannot be excluded.

Additional Information: Store in cool temperatures (below 25 °C). The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g. 36 °C), but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality.
