Babassu Butter is made by combining Babassu Oil and non-GMO Soy Butter to create a smooth, thick and rich consistency that melts slowly on contact. This butter absorbs well into the skin, deeply moisturizing without leaving an oily sheen.  It works for both dry and oily skin types and is a great substitute for Coconut Oil. Babassu Butter is rich in fatty acids which helps to retain moisture and vitamin E which helps to maintain and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin proteins.

Common Uses: Babassu Butter is a great moisturizer on its own and is an excellent emollient for various products such as soaps, creams, body milks and lip balms. It also has wonderful detangling properties making it a great addition to hair care products.

Storage & Shelf Life: This butter should be stored in a cool dark place in an airtight container away from direct sunlight and moisture.  This butter should last up to 18 months if stored properly.

Additional Information: Store in cool temperatures (below 25 °C). The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g.36 °C), but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality.
